Mental Health Week at Bentley Health Service

October 13, 2015

Last week Bentley Health Service recognised Mental Health Week, hosting a variety of activities to celebrate!

Mental Health Week is an opportunity to promote awareness about Mental Health and wellbeing, whilst encouraging staff to maximise their health potential and access information about Mental Health issues. Activities included:

  • lunchtime BBQ
  • staff relaxation session
  • “Soothing the Senses” sensory modulation session
  • “Act Belong Commit” presentation and morning tea.

Acting Program Manager Rachel Griffiths said it was great to see so many staff get involved in Mental Health Week.

“It is so important that as staff members we take the time to care for our mental health,” Rachel said.

“Mental Health Week is an ideal opportunity for this.“
