As the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife comes to an end we are pleased to launch the RPBG International Year of the Nurse and Midwife video series.

This year has been extraordinary in many ways, and how nurses and midwives across the globe have responded to the challenges faced by healthcare systems is a true testament to how amazing these individuals are.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic we have not been able to celebrate RPBG nursing and midwifery staff the way we would have hoped, however, the tireless work of these health professionals to improving the lives of others cannot be forgotten.

A three-part video series has been developed to acknowledge and celebrate these professional groups and their ongoing contribution to the health and wellbeing of the community.

We are pleased to share these videos with our community to highlight the dedication and commitment of our nursing and midwifery staff, as well as the amazing RPH ex-trainees that have contributed so much to the development of the profession. The videos feature numerous RPH ex-trainees including previous RPH Directors of Nursing and profession trailblazers, Ms Patricia Tibett and Ms Maha Rajagopal.

These videos showcase the amazing stories of our nurses and midwives through the years, and how these individuals were inspired to pursue a rewarding and selfless career commitment to improving the lives of others, you can view each of the videos below.

Episode 1 – Let's celebrate RPBG Nurses
